‘Govt relevance will end if no polls’



CHAUTARA: Minister for Information and Communications Madhav Prasad Poudel has said that the government would announce the polls date soon as all preparations for Constituent Assembly (CA) elections were completed. 

At a programme organized by the Sindhu Sadabahar Hospital at Khadichaur in Sindhupalchowk district today, Minister Poudel said this government would be irrelevant if elections were not conducted by mid-December, as this government was formed assigning the main task of conducting the CA elections. 

Minister Poudel also hoped that all political parties would participate in the polls. 

On the occasion, senior cardiologist Bhagawan Koirala, director of National Tuberculosis Center Rajendra Panta, Chief of Sindhu Sadabahar Hospital Dr Yubraj Simkhada and others were feted.
