Home Ministry forms panel to investigate MP’s murder



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Home Ministry formed a three member high level task force to investigate the murder of a former Member of Parliament on Tuesday.

Former MP Mohammed Sadarul Miya Haque was found murdered on Tuesday morning at his Saptari based home and the incident had instantly disrupted the otherwise peaceful home ministry in the capital.

The task force which is headed by Additional Inspector General of Nepal Police, Dinkar Shumsher Rana has been given a time frame of 7 days to present its report.

DIG at Eastern Regional Police Office and Director at Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) Eastern region are members of the committee.
