Paudel calls for forging minimum intra-party understanding for CA polls
POKHARA: Nepali Congress Vice-President Ram Chandra Paudel has said that democratic political parties should have minimum understanding in the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) polls.
Addressing the sixth convention of Democratic Thought Society, Pokhara, Paudel said that the democratic political parties should have better understanding to guarantee new constitution and safeguard democracy though there was not poll alliance.
Plots are rife to attack the democracy and disturb the harmony of the country, Poudel urged to be cautious to foil such conspiracies.
He said the Nepali Congress was committed to promulgating the new constitution within a year and work for political stability and development of infrastructures of agriculture, tourism and water resources in the remaining time of the CA.
On the occasion, Paudel honored educationist Dr Nagendra Lal Shreebastab.
