Thapa elected RPP-Nepal chairman



Kathmandu, May 28 – Kamal Thapa has been elected to the post of chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP)-Nepal.

The election held on Tuesday under the first general convention of the party elected him to the post. Thapa received 1,546 votes while his rival Padma Sundar Lawati got 168.

Similarly, Dhawal Shamsher Rana, Raju Parajuli, Rajaram Shrestha and Chandra Gurung, among others have been elected as central members.

The election was held for the post of the chairman and 63 members of the 127-member central working committee.

Leader Rajaram Shrestha said that the newly elected chairman will nominate the remaining 63 members. RSS
