Pedestrian killed in Morang

MORANG, Apr 6: A pedestrian was killed after a tractor knocked him down on Sunday evening at Madhumalla in the district.The deceased has been identified as Binod Shrestha (35) of Damak Municipality-16. The tractor (Me 1 Ta 3672) had hit Shrestha, who was on foot at the time of the mishap, killing him on the spot, according o District Police Office, Morang.

The body has been sent to Primary Health Centre, Mangalbare, for postmortem.

The Area Police Office, Urlabari, has launched a manhunt to arrest the tractor driver who absconded following the incident.
