BIZ BRIEFS: Pulsar privilege cards
KATHMANDU, Apr 7: Hansraj Hulaschand, the official distributor of Bajaj bikes in Nepal, has launched ‘Pulsar Blue Fire’ privilege card for Pulsar riders.
The ‘Pulsar Blue Fire’ club is a voluntary association of Pulsar riders and the association is confirmed after paying a membership fee of Rs 3,000, as per the press statement issued on Monday.
For the membership, the customers get a ‘Pulsar Kit’ worth more than Rs 3,000. The owners of the ‘Pulsar Blue Fire’ privilege card can get a 10 per cent discount on spare parts and other services at the service centre of Hansraj Hulaschand and Co Pvt Ltd in Gusingal, Lalitpur.
Moreover, the members can also get attractive discounts in many of the eateries and branded apparel showrooms that the company has tied up with across the nation.
For now it is being launched from Bajaj showroom in Teku only. — HNS
Suzuki’s new outlet
KATHMANDU: CG|Motocorp, the authorised distributor of Suzuki four-wheelers for Nepal, has opened yet another outlet to serve its customer in Damauli.
Karan Chaudhary, executive director of CG, inaugurated the showroom, as per the press statement issued on Monday. This is the 27th dealership of the company in the country. — HNS
NLIC’s BoD meeting
KATHMANDU: The 194th board of directors (BoD) meeting of Nepal Life Insurance Company Ltd (NICL) held on Sunday has proposed distribution of 60 per cent bonus shares and a cash dividend worth Rs eight per share (with tax) to their shareholders. The decision is subject to approval from Beema Samiti and its upcoming annual general meeting, as per press statement issued on Monday. — HNS
China housing bank
BEIJING: China should establish a national housing bank to optimise use of country’s housing provident funds, which have over $597.45 billion at their disposal, as per an article written by an official with Ministry of Housing and Urban, Rural Construction. A national housing bank could offer low interest rate housing loans to help middle and low income home buyers, the official said in article cited by Xinhua on Monday.
