Aid for injured agitator

BIRGUNJ, Apr 9: Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum Nepal Parsa Chairman Pradeep Yadav on Wednesday granted financial aid of Rs 15,000 to Ranveer Singh, who was critically injured in police firing during the protest against establishment of service centres of Land Revenue and Survey offices in Gaur of Rautahat on April 3.

Yadav handed over the cash amount to the victim at Birgunj-based Narayani Zonal Hospital. According to Dr Chitranjan Sah, of Sah is in critical condition.

Sah was injured by a rubber bullet fired by police during a clash between security personnel and demonstrators.
