UML general secretary stresses inner unity
Dadeldhura, Dec 10: CPN-UML general secretary Iswor Pokharel has stressed the need of unity among people residing in Terai, mountainous and hilly regions of the country.
At a press conference organized by Press Chautari in Dadeldhura Thursday on his way to address a gathering of Bajhang and Baitadi districts party cadres, Pokharel said that the unity among all political parties, indigenous nationalities and entire Nepali denizens is a must when the country is passing through a difficult time.
“We have promulgated our constitution but not caused any damage to other”, he said, expressing dissatisfaction on the border-based blockade meant for panicking Nepali people while promulgating the main law of the land.
Accusing India of imposing blockade in an apprehension against promulgation of Nepal’s constitution beyond its interest, leader Pokharel said, “There is no reason for anyone’s headache when we delivered constitution for our sake”.
However, he insisted on developing balanced relations with neighbouring country to ensure smooth operation of border points. RSS
