Tremor felt in eastern Nepal



Kathmandu, Jan 4: A powerful earthquake of 6.8 magnitude rattled India’s northeast Manipur State at 4:53 this morning.

The tremor was felt even in the eastern districts of Nepal including in Ilam, Panchthar, Taplejung, Bhojpur, Dhankuta, Morang, Sunsari and others.

Agencies have reported that the quake having the epicentre at Tamenglong in Manipur was felt in different states of India and even in Myanmar. No reports of damages have come so far
