Government fails to meet expectation for abnormal situation
Kathmandu, Jan 13: Chief of the Publicity Department of the CPN-UML, Yogesh Bhattarai, has reasoned the abnormal situation behind government’s failure to meet expectations.
At an interaction organized by the Reporters’ Club in the capital city on Wednesday, he urged the agitating Madhesi Front to quit protests and seek solution through dialogue. “Other disputes except the demarcation of province can be sorted out immediately,” he argued.
On the occasion, central member of the Nepali Congress Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat said it was quite shameful to the country to have very belittling views from the Prime Minister. He urged the Prime Minister not to speak in a way to disparage and hurt the people.
Member of the dialogue team formed by the Madhesi Front, Ram Naresh Raya, attributed the agitation to the lack of seriousness on part of the government.
He further argued that it was because of the disagreement within the major three political parties, the solution of Madhes problem was delayed. Once the government addresses Front’s 11-point demand, the solution is outright.
