Will take both factions together ahead, says leader Deuba
Pokhara, Jan 14: Nepali Congress senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that he would take both the factions of the party together ahead.
Speaking at an orientation and training programme organized by the party here Thursday, he said that the matter of democracy of elections within the party is however more important. Both the winning and losing side must work together following the general convention, he said. The winning side will be responsible to keep the party united.
NC central members Kamala Pant, Arjun Joshi and Ratna Sherchan stressed on the need for a leadership role of the party in the implementation of the constitution, and true evaluation of the party cadres to strengthen the party organization.
NC districts chairs, regional chairs and women general committee members of constituencies falling under Province No. 4 are taking part in the two-day event. The party is holding similar events in all the seven provinces in the lead up to the party’s near-coming general convention.
