Koirala and Mahato hold talks

Kathmandu, Jan 18: Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala and Sadbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato on Monday held talks over the demands of the agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF).

In a meeting held at Koirala’s residence in Maharajgunj, the two leaders discussed ways to address the UDMF demands, said the NC President’s aide Atul Koirala.
Mahato urged NC President Koirala to take up the role in capacity of being the leader of the largest party to settle the disputes over demarcation of provincial borders.
Koirala also enquired about Mahato’s health condition. Mahato returned home on Sunday after treatment in New Delhi, the capital of India, and held a meeting with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
