General strike hit normal life
Janakpurdham, Jan 22: A general strike has been enforced in protest of the incident occurred at Rangeli of Morang district. Three persons were killed and many other were injured in police action after agitating Madhesi protestors made attempts to disrupt a programme organized by Youth Force in Morang district on Thursday.
Normal life of the district has been affected due to the general strike enforced by the United Democratic Madhesi Front.
The daily life which had almost come to normalcy from the protracted agitation enforced by Madhes-based parties has again witnessed complications with the fresh incident. The educational institutions, market place, factories and transport have remained closed today due to general strike.
UDMF leaders and cadres with batons have hit the street in major thoroughfares of Janakpur since early this morning.
