200 bar from appearing for this year’s SLC test

Chitwan, March 25: Around 200 students in Chitwan district are barred from sitting for this year’s School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations for failing to secure 75 percent of annual school attendance.

The test also considered as ‘iron gate’ is scheduled for March 31.The total 12,527 students are said to be appearing for the SLC examinations this year from Chitwan alone.

Out of them, 7,651 are from community schools and 4,774 from private schools, apart from 75 taking the test under open category, 26 under technical category and one under private category.

The total 39 examination centres have been designated in Chitwan this year. RSS
