Former DIG Nawaraj Silwal wins in Lalitpur-1

LALITPUR, Dec 9: CPN-UML candidate and former DIG Nawaraj Silwal has been elected as the House of Representative member from Lalitpur constituency-1. Silwal garnered 36,946 votes while his contender Nepali Congress candidate and state minister for Finance Udaya Shumsher Rana who scored 20,729 votes.
