Dahal invited to N Korea to attend 70th Establishment Day of Korean Communist Party

KATHMANDU, Jan 21: Ambassador of North Korea of Nepal Kim Yong-hak has paid a courtesy call on CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Sunday.

During the meeting held at Maoist Center’s party office, Paris Danda, Ambassador Kim congratulated Dahal on his success on recent election. Kim also invited Dahal to attend the function being organized on the occasion of 70th establishment day of the Korean Communist Party to be held on September.

Kim also said that both North Korea and South Korea were in favor of national unity and unification and expressed his happiness that Maoist war was successful in establishing Republic in Nepal.

In return, Dahal expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Kim and promised to send a high level delegation team to attend the ceremony.

Dahal also shared that the unification between CPN-UML and Maoist Center was being concluded so as to give the country political stability and economic prosperity.
