Ambassador Puri in Janakpur to prepare for Modi’s visit

KATHMANDU, April 23: Ambassador of India to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri has reached Janakpur to make necessary preparations for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Nepal.

Even though date and itinerary of Modi’s visit has not been confirmed by both sides, Modi is likely to visit Nepal around mid-May, according to sources.

Sources have also suggested that Indian PM Modi will also visit Janakpurdham and Muktinath temple during his trip.

Ambassador Puri reached in Janakpur on Sunday and held meeting with Province 2 Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut. According to CM Raut, they discussed about the preparation for Modi’s visit to Janakpur.
