Leader Nepal hopeful of continuity of Chinese support


KATHMANDU, April 23: CPN-UML leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has commended China for its assistance to the country, expecting for continuity of such assistance in the days to come also.

During a meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Ms Yu Hong, Monday, he termed the Chinese assistance to the favour of Nepal’s economic and prosperity as significant, adding that the construction of railway from Kerung to Kathmandu was their priority, according to UML Publicity Department secretary Bishnu Rijal.

The Chinese Ambassador visited leader Nepal’s Koteshwor-based private residence for a courtesy call on him.
