NIC extends branches in rural Nepal
Reporters Club: NIC Asia Bank Private Limited in order to provide and facilitate banking services to the rural sector of Nepal has added 4 new branches and one branchless banking system. This move also comes as part of its ongoing expansion in operations.
The branches came into operation in 4 rural areas of Rukum, Chitwan, outer Kathmandu, and Jhapa. They were inaugurated with functions held simultaneously on the 29th. NIC customers are happy with the progress and these added branches will ease the burden on the current customers of NIC bank in those areas.
The bank now has 301 branches, 363 ATM Machines, 70 extension counters. NIC Asia Bank has over 1.8 million happy customers. The entire team believes in responsible banking catering to the needs of their customers as stated in their press release.
