Nepal’s COVID-19 cases reach 102
KATHMANDU, May 8: A 16-year-old male from Nepalgunj has tested positive on Friday, confirmed the Ministry of Health and Population as Nepal’s coronavirus cases reach 102 on Friday.
“He was tested positive at Bheri Hospital,” ministry Spokesperson Bikas Devkota said.
Of the total infected, 74 are males and 28 are females.
According to him, 15,624 persons in quarantine while 135 persons are in isolation across the country.
Likewise, eight patients from Koshi Hospital have been discharged today, the total number of patients discharged after recovery has reached 30.
24 patients are receiving treatment in Nepalgunj, 26 in Bijgunj, 17 in Biratnagar, three in Rupendahi and one each in Dhangadi and Bharatpur.
