Fire destroys shops

Galeshwor, Aug 10. Two shops have been turned into ashes with the fire occurred at Beni, district headquarters of Myagdi, this morning.

The fire destroyed Raghuganga Dairy and Nayana Stores located at New Road of Beni Municipality-8, causing the loss of the tens of thousands of rupees. However, no human casualty has been reported.

The flame was put out with joint efforts of Nepal Army, Nepal Police, the Armed Police Force and locals. Proprietor of Nayana Store, Jagannatha Sharma, informed that the fire caused huge loss.

An explosion of gas cylinder was heard during the fire. It is guessed that the fire broke out with electric short circuit in dairy. RSS/File Photo
