Pro-monarchist party claims of winning at 163 seats in upcoming CA poll
KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal has claimed of winning at least one-third seats in the upcoming elections to the Constituent Assembly. As per the election ordinance, the new CA would have a size of 491 seats.
Cadres of all rank and files have been directed to work on a war footing scale in preparations for the elections, said RPP-N President Kamal Thapa at a press conference held here today.
The party has also decided to organize a national unity march from September 10 to 30 to utilize the opportunity to create a strong mandate for consolidating national unity and integrity, and reestablishing Nepal as a Hindu Kingdom, RSS reports.
On the occasion, Thapa also demanded that the four-party mechanism be dissolved and an all-party meeting organized to ensure the participation of all in the upcoming elections.
