Govt unlocking path of development, prosperity: Dr Khatiwada
TAMGHAS, Feb 2: Minister for Finance Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada has urged one and all not to harbor any doubts that the country was moving ahead on the path of development and prosperity as he claimed that the government was unlocking the development path.
Speaking at an event held after the inaugural of expansion of a road that falls on the Baglung road section under the Kali Gandaki Corridor at Ridi in Gumli district on Saturday, Minister Khatiwada asserted that although the government was undertaking many good initiatives, there was no widespread acknowledgment among public.
Minister Khatiwada reaffirmed that the incumbent government will walk the talk within five years when it comes to fulfilling all the promises made in the manifesto during the election.
Khatiwada also urged the concerned persons not to panic that the government had not increased their social security allowances as promised. Requesting their patience for the same, he explained, “Without fiscal discipline, no economic resources will be collected and unless there were adequate collection of economic sources, there will be no capacity for distribution.”
The Minister also reaffirmed that the government was effortful to enable environment where all would come under the ambit of social security under the Prime Minister Employment Scheme.
According to him, the government has attached a high priority for the development of Ridi area and said the government was committed towards construction of watershed from Ranighat to Ridi and building pilgrims house at Rishikesh Temple.
