Madhyapur Thimi Municipality to construct view-tower at Natyashwari

BHAKTAPUR, March 6: The Madhyapur Thimi Municipality is constructing a view-tower at Natyashwari at the road leading to local Sanothimi from Lokanthali.

This would be the first view-tower of its kind in the district and one can observe various places of the Kathmandu Valley as Manohara, SOS, the settlements around Divyashwari, Tribhuvan International Airport and the Himalayan range.

The view-tower would be three-storied and various structures including the tower would be constructed within three years, mayor Madan Sundar Shrestha said. The other structures include a park, a temple, artificial rock climbing, gymnasium, toilets, among others. A two-storied community building at the place would also be freshly painted and managed.

The view-tower and other structures would be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 70 million within three years. The Municipality has allocated Rs 7.5 million for this purpose this year. RSS
