Development begins when leadership shuns craving: Regmi

Kathmandu, April 9: Former Chairperson of the Council of Ministers, Khilraj Regmi, said Nepal’s development takes pace once the political leaderships shun craving for personal benefit.

He made such view at a programme organized in honour of the chairpersons of Nepal Jaycees across the country. Time has come for the politicians to keep the country and people in centre, he suggested.

The former Chairperson of the Council of Ministers reminded that during his chairmanship of the government, his team worked for 16 hours a day to make the Constituent Assembly election successful.

On the occasion, founder chairperson of Nepal Jaycees, Dr Bhesh Bahadur Thapa, suggested Nepal Jaycees to launch a pressure programme to resolve problems in the country. RSS
