Dixit’s health improving

Kathmandu, April 27: Health condition of media entrepreneur and journalist, Kanakmani Dixit, is improving, said a doctor involved in Dixit’s treatment.

Although Dixit was admitted to Bir Hospital for general treatment of blood pressure soon after the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested him on Friday, he is receiving treatment in intensive care unit from Saturday morning after his blood pressure did not normalize.

Dr Menan Gorkhali, the doctor involved in Dixit’s treatment, said that Dixit’s blood pressure has now started normalizing.

He said, “Dixit’s heath is improving. Although some problem was seen in his kidneys due to high blood pressure, today’s report is normal.”

Dr Gorkhali added that preparation was underway to carry out ECG and blood test as Dixit feels uneasy in his chest. Photo from Setopati.com,
