Training on rescue operation begins in Chitwan
Chitwan, April 29: Training on rescue operation at the time of disaster has started in Bharatpur in the district from Thursday.
Eight persons from 19 districts including representatives from Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Red Cross Nepal, Nepal Scout and Nepal Chamber of Commerce are part of the two-day training run by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The training will provide skills to manage natural disasters and launch rescue operation in time of disasters, said Keshab Bohara, executive director of the Nepal Scout and the training coordinator.
The total six experts including four from Scotland and two from the United States of America are imparting the training. RSS
