Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation hands over Integrated Musahar settlement
KATHMANDU, April 14: Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation has handed over the integrated Musahar settlement to the Musahar community of Mohattari on Friday on the occasion of the Nepali New Year 2074.
‘Maha’ duo Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya and Chief Secretary of Nepal Government Dr Som Lal Subedi jointly handed over the settlement to the Musahars, considered as historically marginalized community of Mahottari.
“Sittaram is a hero of our society, and a leader of social campaign,” said actor Hari Bansha Acharya.
‘Maha ‘ duo, on the occasion, announced to support one lakh rupees to the settlement for the use for sanitation purpose.
The village, built on Bardibas-2, has 52 facilitated residential houses.
This is the third project launched by the comedian couple Sitaram Kattel and Kunjana Ghimire (popularly known as Dhurmus and Suntali.)
