Hridayesh Tripathi wins in Nawalparasi west-1

NAWALPARASI, Dec 10: Left alliance candidate Hridayesh Tripathi, who contested the House of Representative election under the symbol sun, has secured his seat in the Federal Parliament from Nawalparasi west constituency-1.

Tripathi defeated Nepali Congress candidate Dev Karan Prasad Kalwaar securing 38,592 votes. Kalwaar received 33,591 votes.
