All set to elect a new leadership: NBA

Kathmandu: April 01: The Nepal Bar Association (NBA), an umbrella organization of all the legal practitioners, is all set to elect a new leadership.

The candidates are holding door-to-door campaigns to turn the table in their favor in the election slated for Saturday. The election is being held on Saturday to elect the 24th Central Working Committee of the NBA. The NBA was established 59 years ago.

There are two panel who claim the new leadership. Mr. Bijaya Kanta Mainalai is leading a progressive group while Sher Bahadur KC is leading a democratic group. Each group is currently lobbying hard and claiming that their will win the election.

The election committee has informed that as many as 9,522 voters will cast their votes from 33 polling centers. The voting will begin at 8:00 am close at 4 pm on Saturday.
