Govt adjusted 23,000 employees so far

KATHMANDU, Feb 21: The government has adjusted 22,916 employees at federation, provinces and local levels so far, according to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration.

Out of around 77,000 employees, who opted for adjustment, 22,916 have been adjusted, said Chief at Adjustment Section of the Ministry, Kedar Prasad Paneru.

According to him 17,279 employees have been adjusted in the federal level, 2,448 in provinces and 3,190 at local levels.

The Ministry has already adjusted secretaries and joint-secretaries while process to adjust under-secretaries, section officers and other employees is on.

The government fixed the deadline to fill up the online adjustment form from December 26, 2018 to January 16, 2019 and has started the process to adjust 47,920 employees at federation, 22,755 at provinces and 67,503 at local levels.
