Govt policies and programs: Public school enabling decade to be declared

KATHMANDU, May 3: The government has set the policy to reform public school education, declaring ‘Public School Enabling Decade 2076-2086 BS.’

The policies and programs presented in the parliament on Friday have also included this provision which would be launched across the country.

Though the government has been launching ‘School Area Development Programme with the assistance of the donor agencies, the result through it has not been effective so far.

The learning achievement in public school is around 50 percent at present and the government has expected to advance it adopting new policy and program. RSS
