Inter-provincial council meeting begins



Kathmandu, Dec 9 : First meeting of the inter-provincial council has begun at Prime Minister’s Office and the Office of Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar. 

The meeting will review the works performed by the federal and provincial governments and discuss ways to implement the federal governance system, it is said.

It is also expected to settle dispute stemming from the constitution, law, budget and the implementation of policies and programmes and power sharing.

Prime Minister is the chair of the Council, and Home Minister, Finance Minister and Chief Minister of all seven provinces are the members. (RSS)
