Jawalakhel Youth Club defeats Friends in A-division league.

Kathmandu: Jawalakhel Youth Club has defeated the Friends Club with 2-1 on Sunday in the ongoing Martyrs Memorial Red Bull A Division League played at the Dashrath Stadium.

A suicide goal from defender Shusil Shah gave Friends the much needed lead in the fifty seven minute of the play when Anil Ojha of Friends crossed. However, Umesh Thapa scored an equalizer for JYC in the 58 minutes.

Skipper Ram Thapa scored double for JYC in the 83rd minute. Both teams missed many chances of sending the ball home into the net. With the win, JYC in the 11th position while obtaining 7 marks in its six games and Friends gone up 5th position with 10 marks.
