Lightning claims one in Rukum

RUKUM: A woman died and two others were injured when a lightning struck at Gotamkot in Rukum district last night. The deceased is identified as Rupi Bhandari, 24. The thunderbolt struck her at the home of Prajit Bhandari.

Injured are undergoing treatment at a local health post. The lightning completely destroyed the house and killed some cattle also, locals said.
