KATHMANDU, Oct 12: The Madhes Samata Party Nepal has merged with the CPN-UML.

UML chairman KP Sharma Oli welcomed Meghraj Nepali, president of Madhes Samata Party Nepal, to UML at a program organized at the UML party office on Thursday.

On the occasion, Oli said a wave of newcomers to UML has started in the country now inspired by the UML’s patriotism.

He claimed that the elections would be held on the stipulated time and the UML was the most-loved party of the Nepali people.

“It is the communists who will develop the country,” he said, adding that the communists should be sincere and honest to the country and the people. He also said the UML was not anti-Madhes.

Madhes Samata Party Nepal president Nepali said they joined the UML due to its correct stance on nationality. RSS
