NTD Rolpa enforces shutdown in protest of murder



Rolpa: Normal life in Rolpa district has been adversely affected since early this morning due to shutdown enforced by Nepal Tarun Dal , Rolpa in protest of the murder of its leader.

The youth wing of the Nepali Congress resorted to launch shutdown to protest the killing of NTD Town President, Rohit Pun. Pun was shot dead on Sunday evening.

The shutdown has affected the operation of educational institutions, transportation, market and industrial area. NTD has put the blame on former Maoist cadre for the murder of President Pun.

 The strike will not be withdrawn till the murderer(s)are brought into book, said Nepal Student Union Rolpa district secretary Narayan Regmi.

 Meanwhile, Nepali Congres, issuing a press release on Sunday evening, has also demanded stern action against the murderer. NC has expressed sadness over the police inaction to book the murderers as the murder case took place nearby Area Police Office, Sulichaur.

The party has also paid tribute to Pun and expressed condolence to the grief-stricken families.
Likewise, the Nepal Tarun Dal has also expressed grief over the murder of Rolpa Town Committee President Pun. RSS
