Over 9 billion worth of share transaction recorded weekend



Kathmandu, July 30: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has increased significantly, nearing around 1,880 points this weekend.

Shares worth around 9.56 billion were transacted this week. Although the last Thursday saw the Nepse decreased by 3.52 points, other days witnessed an encouraging increment in the share transaction.

The transaction of bank shares increased by 42.09 points, hotel shares by 43.03, development bank shares 81.85, finance shares 20.99 and insurance company shares by 83.92.

Likewise, production companies witnessed the increment of 3.21 points in the share transaction while other groups had an increase by 8.97. RSS
