KATHMANDU, March 11: CPN (Maoist Center) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the people were expecting actions rather than speech, and verbal commitments from the government and politics.

Speaking in today’s parliament meeting, Dahal, also the parliamentary party leader of Maoist Center, expected that the government would be oriented towards same direction. He further underscored that the government should act to end all kinds of malpractices facing the security agencies, administration and judiciary.

The Prime Minister is all aware of the wrongdoing; so, he would take initiative to curb the maladies, Dahal hoped.

He further urged the government to lessen the corruption, adding that the incumbent government was stronger with over two-thirds majority. Chair Dahal noted that the people had great expectations from the government, which must not be dampened at all.

Chair Dahal, also former Prime Minister, opined for completing the remaining tasks of peace process.
