‘People from all classes, castes and communities should work in unison’

Birgunj, Jan 11 : Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has shared that the government was replacing the old laws with the new ones in view of the federal system that respects people’s sovereignty, culture and identity.

Inaugurating the 43rd annual general assembly of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Parsa, Friday, Home Minister Thapa said new laws are imperative for country’s development and prosperity.

“To materialize the dream of ‘prosperous Nepal-Happy Nepali’, people from all classes, castes and communities should work in unison.

As the country has already adopted federalism, every province should make laws fitting their people, he said, adding that the provinces could prod the central government to accomplish the national pride projects.

Other speakers at the programme underscored that the central government must concentrate to making the country prosperous. RSS
