Kathmandu, Jan 12 : Former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has urged the political parties to devote to economic development of the country with the implementation of the constitution.
During a programme organized on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the Nightingale International Secondary School here today, the former President said the only aspiration people have is the development and prosperity, so the government and the political parties had no option but to engross on people’s aspiration.
“Federal democratic republic was achieved with long struggle which brought new constitution. So, rising above party interests is imperative,” he underscored.
As he said serious attention is needed to immediately address the corruption, high price of daily goods, violence against women and unemployment.
According to him, practical education could help create jobs. “You cannot force your children to study what you studied. The subject of children’s choice ensures their future,” the former President suggested the parents. RSS
