Property of newly appointed ministry and state ministers made public



Kathmandu, Jan 8: Property details of newly appointed Minister of Science and Technology Shiva Lal Thapa, State Minister for Land Reform and Management Bikram Bahadur Thapa and State Minister for Health Mohammad Mustak Alam has been made public.

According to the details made public through the Ministry of Information and Communications, Science Minister Thapa has the total Rs 27,500 in cash deposited in various banks and cooperatives.

He owns total around one ropani and six anas of plot at Bhirkot, Shivapur and Byas Municipality in Tanahun in his wife’s name.

Likewise, land reform state minister Thapa has the total Rs 500,000 in cash deposited in various banks and cooperatives, 30 tolas gold and 125 tolas silver ornaments.

He also owns three concrete houses built on around 40 ropanis of plot at various places in Kathmandu. Likewise, he has two motorcycles and a Santro car.

Similarly, health state minister Alam owns four anas of plot at Syuchatar in Kathmandu, 10 bighas and three katthas of land in Rautahat.

Likewise, he has 20 tolas gold and 50 tolas silver, and Rs 2 million in cash deposited in various banks and cooperatives.
