Rajit Rae

NEW DELHI, March 15: Former Ambassador of India to Nepal Ranjit Rae has argued that Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli has saved the nation from disintegration by welcoming CK Raut into main stream politics.

He also said that it was PM Oli’s brave decision to impose ban on Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ led Communist Party of Nepal.

“Restricting Biplav group’s activities and reaching an agreement with CK Raut’s Independent Madesh Alliance was PM Oli’s brave decision,” he said to Rishi Dhamala, who is in New Delhi.

“We welcome this decision of Oli because Oli has saved the nation from disintegration,” he added.

He also said that SAARC summit has no meaning.

“SAARC summit comprising Pakistan can’t take place,” he said.
