Rapper Yama Buddha found dead in London

KATHMANDU, Jan 15: Nepali rapper Anil Adhikari –famously known as Yama Buddha- was found in London on Saturday.

He was found hanging by the neck in his belt at his London-based apartment. The 30 year old rapper was living with his wife and in-laws at Ruislip in South Harrow, London.

The body of the deceased artist has been kept at Northwick Park Hospital. His family has also been informed about his death.

Nepali Embassy in London said that they have confirmed about the incident and are trying to obtain more information about his death.

London based officials have reported that the investigation on death has already been started and further information will be retrieved after his post-mortem report on Wednesday.

Adhikari was born on May 30, 1987 and is well-known for his songs Mero Juttama, Saathi, Aaudaichu Ma, Footpath mero ghar, Yo prasanga, Didi, Antya ko Suruwat, Nachana, Aama among others.

He was recording his latest album ‘Khatra’, which was due to be released on January 15.
