KATHMANDU, July 7: Nepal Congress lawmaker representing Kathmandu constituency no 6, Bhimsen Das Pradhan, has accused the government of ignoring opposition.

During a meeting with the people at Tarakeshwor in his constituency, lawmaker Pradhan, who is also the former defense minister, further argued that the government was not adopting cooperative but suppressive measure.

“Government needs to incorporate all sides in its activities. If the discrimination continues, it foments conflict,” he argued, adding that only strong democracy can ensure strong government.

Moreover, lawmaker Pradhan demanded the government to immediately take initiative to save the lives of Dr Govinda KC and Gangamaya. RSS
