BHAKTAPUR, Dec 14: A team of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested a Nayab Subba (non-gazetted second class officer) with the District Land Revenue Office red-handed from the office while he was taking bribe this afternoon at the basement of the office building this afternoon.

Devraj Kafle was arrested while he was accepting kickback Rs 100,000. He had asked for the bribe from service seekers to transfer the land located at Nangkhel, Suryabinayek municipality in their name.

The CIAA team has been carrying out further investigation into the case. RSS

BHAKTAPUR, July 4: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has caught Bhagawan Sagar Bhail, supervisor at the Nepal Electricity Authority, Bhaktapur branch, red-handed while he was accepting bribe from a customer.

A team from the CIAA’s central investigation bureau arrested Bhail on Monday from his office while he was taking Rs 11 thousand as kickback. The CIAA team caught him red-handed in course of investigation based on a complaint that he was seeking bribe from a customer for upgrading the capacity of his electricity meter.

The CIAA has taken Bhail into custody and initiated investigation. RSS
