DANG, Aug 10: Tree plantation has been carried out in different areas in Dang on the occasion of Community Forestry Day.

As many as 500 community forests across the district on Wednesday planted saplings of diverse species under the aegis of the Federation of Community Forestry Users Nepal (FECOFUN) Dang Chapter.

Total 524 community forests of the district planted 632,000 plants of different 18 species to mark the community forest day, shared FECOFUN Dang Chapter Chairperson Shovakhar Sapkota.

The community forest day has been marked with the main slogan ‘Community forestry in federal system; Identity of the local community’. RSS
