KATHMANDU, Aug 30: Constituency Delineation Commission is preparing to submit its report to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba today afternoon.

A program has been scheduled for 5 pm today afternoon for the report submission, according to the Chairperson of Commission, Kamal Narayan Das.

“The report has been prepared on basis of the country’s geography,” Das told Reporters’ Club Nepal.  Das also claimed that the report has been prepared without any influence from any political parties. “We have prepared the report according to the interest of the people,” said Das.

The government had formed the electoral delineation commission under the leadership of Das on June 21 with the mandate of completing given task with 21 days. But the Commission citing the lack of enough time had increased its deadline for 15 more days.
