KATHMANDU, Oct 14: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has inducted four ministers from Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) on Saturday.

President Bidhya Devi Bhandari administered the oath to Kamal Thapa, Dilnath Giri, Jayanta Chand and Bikram Thapa in presence of PM Deuba at her office in Sheetal Niwas.

Thapa, also the RPP Chair, was sworn-in as the Deputy Prime Minister while three others were sworn-in without portfolio.

PM had expanded his cabinet on Friday inducting four ministers and four state ministers from the party. With this expansion, the current cabinet size has swelled to 64.

Ministers of State administered oath of offices

KATHMANDU, Oct 14: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed four Ministers of State.

During a ceremony organized at Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar Saturday evening,

Minister of State without portfolio Kunti Kumari Sahi, Sushil Kumar Shrestha, Bhaskar Bhadra and Kanta Bhattarai were administered the oath of office and secrecy.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers and Chief Secretary of the government and others.

KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has administrated oath of office and secrecy to Biraj Bista as State Minister for Science and Technology and Kamala Sharma as State Minister for Forest and Soil Conservation.

The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers today.

Bista was serving as an Assistant Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development in the incumbent government whereas Sharma is fresh in the cabinet.

The newly appointed State Ministers assumed the office today itself. Both Bista and Sharma have been inducted from the Pashupati Shumsher Rana led Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Democratic (RPP-D). RSS

KATHMANDU, Sept 11: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has added three new ministers to his jumbo cabinet on Monday.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed ministers from Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Democratic). The sworn-in ministers are Minister for Science and Technology Deepak Bohara, Minister for Forest and Soil-Conservation Bikram Pandey and Minister for Industry Sunil Bahadur Thapa.

Present on the occasion were Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, ministers, chiefs of constitutional bodies, chief secretary and chiefs of security bodies.

Resham Lama (State Minister for Industry) will also be sworn-in later today.

With the fifth expansion of the cabinet, the number of ministers has reached 54, the largest cabinet ever in the history of Nepal.

Deuba’s jumbo cabinet has now three deputy prime ministers, 27 ministers and 24 state ministers.
