KATHMANDU, Nov 22: Nepali Congress (NC) central member Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has accused the communist alliance of making efforts to disrupt the democratic path.

Speaking at an interaction program organized by the Reporters’ Club Nepal in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Dr Mahat, an NC candidate from Kathmandu constituency-5, requested the voters to cast their votes for NC to clear the pathway of democratic values.

“The left alliance is trying to take a wrong track, The communists have opted for establishing the rule of a leader of single party by raising the issue of presidential rule”, he said Dr Mahat.

He furthered, “We are against the system where a party or a person rules others. The communist parties of Nepal are trying to establish communist rule and carry on their regime for 50 years”.
